Dreamlike beautiful ambience
A fantastic place with a beautiful ambience. Just everything was fine with very friendly staff and good breakfast after a pleasant night on the terrace. wonderful stop on the way

Glorious Manor House in Swellendam
Could not fault this glorious spot. An ideal stopping off spot between Knysna and Cape Town. My son wanted to stay a week! So stylishly furnished with several welcome extras plus lush gardens to roam around in and to go say hello to the resident zebra - that was a treat!

Exceptional
We were a late arrival but so warmly received! Cosy room on a winters night with quality amenities. Homemade rusks, coffee station and a well stocked bar fridge! Ambiance, pool so relaxing . Misty crisp morning walk in landscaped garden with lemon trees loaded with fruit. The sumptuous breakfast so appetizing and well presented by the most friendly staff. Beautiful small hotel
Beautiful, almost sparkling hotel. It was immaculate everywhere and everything was so clean and shiny. Received a very warm welcome and lots of lovely snacks and fruits in our room, which was cosy and welcoming and looked out onto the pool and beautiful gardens, with zebra and springbok in the rear (enclosed!) area. Breakfast was a delight - again everything fresh and well cooked. We had to leave a day earlier than planned which was no reflection on the hotel at all but the receptionist was very concerned that something was wrong (it wasn't!) which shows their level of care. Also found that our car had been cleaned by a member of staff which was a very nice added touch. Would highly recommend. Our only disappointment was that good restaurants were a fair distance away so you would need either a car or taxi to get anywhere. Did not like the restaurant next-door!

A charming hotel in Swellendam
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel with our 2 children. Simone was very welcoming and professional. She helped us find a restaurant available on December 31, which was not easy at the last minute. The hotel building is magnificent and very pleasant with its beautiful garden and large swimming pool. The room was comfortable. I found the breakfast to be good with for example fresh fruit salad, good coffee and a good choice of jam. The staff was friendly.

Warm welcome and with all the explanations. Available to book a taxi and restaurant. Exceptional setting with a magnificent garden and presence of zebras. Spacious and well-equipped room. Despite the proximity of the road, the room is quiet. Breakfast is taken in the garden.
